GTA promotes safe handling & use of legally owned weapons. Matches & events open to non-members unless otherwise specified. NFA weapons welcome, all NFA rules apply. Eye/ear protection required for your safety. Children under 18 yrs. of age must be accompanied by parent, legal guardian or responsible adult who accepts liability for their actions.
FOUR BASIC RULES OF FIREARM SAFETY
1. Treat every firearm you see or touch as if it were loaded at all times.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on the target.
4. Be sure of your target, backstop & anything beyond.
PLEASE READ: Improper handling of firearms is extremely dangerous & discouraged. Use of firearms & live fire exercises are inherently dangerous & could result in severe injury or death. For everyone's safety you must adhere to the Four Basic Safety Rules. Safety violations will be dealt with accordingly. We cannot afford nor will we tolerate, unsafe shooters, persons or behavior on the range. Do not bring illegal weapons onto the property for any reason.

A Safety Break coincides with the Lunch Break at 12-12:30pm when a catering truck arrives during scheduled events. Typical match registration is open from 10am - 2pm, register anytime during these hours. Shooting begins 10am and continues until 5pm or everyone has completed the match. Shooters don't need to begin at 10am - allow sufficient time to enjoy your day. This is SOP unless otherwise specified for special events.
